For example, their service engineers are rostered on our 24×7 On Call Service – each engineer takes on the responsibility for responding to contracted Schneider Electric customer issues 24/7 nationwide for a period of 1 week in every 6 weeks. That demands a significant level of trust between us and Total Power Solutions have always come up trumps in supporting customers in an emergency.”
Schneider Electric Product Expertise
One of the challenges that Schneider Electric faces is the size of its portfolio and the depth of product expertise that’s needed to support their clients. “It’s particularly helpful that TPS can cover the whole range of our products – only a very select group of Partners can actually do that. Their engineers have done our training courses, they’re certified and I’m very satisfied with the engineering expertise their engineers demonstrate – it’s pretty impressive.”
As the two companies work hand-in-hand as both Service and Sales Partners, there is an advantage too for TPS in that they have access to the in-depth technical resources available at Schneider Electric.
